Terms
Last updated September 29, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Adam Culpepper ("we") for using DashSuey: the site at dashsuey.com and the app at app.dashsuey.com. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use DashSuey. What we collect and why is on the privacy page.
DashSuey is in beta
DashSuey is still being built. Features can change, move to a different plan or be removed, and things will sometimes break. We do not promise that the app will be available at any particular time.
Widgets
The number of widgets, and which ones are offered, can change at any time. The list on dashsuey.com shows what is available today. It is not a promise that any widget will stay.
Many widgets get their data from another company's service: weather, news, music, code hosting, social networks and others. Those services set their own limits and terms. We may pause a widget while we fix a problem with it, or while a service has limited or cut off our access, for instance after too many requests. We may retire a widget for good if its service changes its terms, starts charging, or shuts down. A paused or retired widget does not change the price of a plan and is not grounds for a refund.
To stay inside those services' limits, some widgets can fetch fresh data only a set number of times per person per day, and show the last reading in between.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. While signup is closed, accounts are by invitation. An account is for one person, and you are responsible for what happens under it, so keep your Google account secure. You must be at least 13 to have an account.
Services you connect
When you connect another service to a widget, you allow us to use the access it grants to fetch what the widget shows, and nothing else. Your use of that service is still governed by its own terms. You can disconnect it at any time.
Your content
What you put on your boards stays yours. You allow us to store it and show it to you, as far as running DashSuey needs, and we do not use it for anything else.
Roadmap suggestions are different. If you suggest a feature, we may publish it on the public roadmap after reviewing it, edit it, and build it, and we owe you nothing for doing so.
Acceptable use
Do not use DashSuey to break the law. Do not try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or around the limits of your plan. Do not overload or scrape DashSuey or its public endpoints, the weather forecast included. Do not use DashSuey to reach a connected service in a way that breaks that service's terms, and do not resell or re-host DashSuey. We may suspend an account that does any of these.
Plans and billing
DashSuey has a free plan and a paid plan, Pro. Pro is a monthly subscription, and there is no yearly price. The app shows the current price before you pay, and Stripe takes the payment.
New accounts start with a free trial of Pro. It needs no card, and when it ends the account moves to the free plan unless you have subscribed.
You can cancel at any time under Manage billing. Pro then stays until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. If a renewal payment fails, Pro ends when the paid period does.
Moving from Pro to the free plan deletes nothing. Widgets and boards beyond the free plan's limits are hidden or locked until you upgrade again or remove others.
We may change the price of Pro. A new price applies from your next billing period after we have told you about it.
If you think a charge is wrong, email info@dashsuey.com and we will look into it. If a payment is refunded, or disputed with your bank, Pro ends at once.
Suspending and ending an account
You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Settings, then Account. Deleting it also cancels a Pro subscription, at once. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may stop offering DashSuey.
No warranty
DashSuey is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors. Weather, exchange rates and the other figures widgets show come from other services and can be wrong or late, so do not rely on DashSuey where a wrong or missing figure could cause harm.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits arising from your use of DashSuey, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date. Using DashSuey after that means you accept the new version.
