World Clock
A world clock that follows you to every computer
Add the places you keep an eye on and the World Clock shows each one's time, and how far ahead or behind you it is. It sits on your DashSuey board, so the same clocks are there on every computer you sign in on.

On your board, next to the rest of your day
A morning board for someone who works with another office: the world clock beside a big clock, today's date and a countdown to Friday evening. The board is saved to your account, so it looks the same on the work laptop and the computer at home.

Every tile here is live, worked out in your browser from your own clock.
What you can set
- Clocks
- As many as you like, one row each. Search by city to add one. The search knows country names and the short forms people type, like NYC.
- Names
- Give a clock a name of your own, like Home or the London office. Left blank, it shows the city.
- Order
- Drag a clock by its handle to move it up or down.
- 12 or 24 hour
- One switch. A new widget starts on 12-hour.
- Seconds
- Off or on. A new widget starts with them off.
- Your time
- The clock that matches the time zone your computer is set to is tinted and says "your time". Open the board on a laptop in another country and it marks that country instead.
- Where it lives
- On your board, saved to your account, and the same on every computer you sign in on.
Where the time comes from
Each clock reads your computer's own clock and the time zone rules built into your browser. There is no time server, so if your computer is a minute off, every clock on the widget is a minute off with it.
Daylight saving comes from those same rules. When a place changes its clocks, its row moves, and so does the offset beside it.
What it does not do
- It shows the time now. It can't convert a time you pick or plan a meeting across zones.
- It has no analog face. The Clock widget has one, for a single zone.
- It shows the weekday in each place, not the full date.
Questions people ask
How do I see multiple time zones at once?
Add the World Clock to your board and add a clock for each place. Each row shows the place's name, the weekday there, how far ahead or behind you it is, and the time. A new widget starts with Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and London, and you can change or delete any of them.
How do I put a world clock on my desktop?
Open your DashSuey board in a browser tab and the clocks are there. DashSuey is a web page you sign into, so there's nothing to install and no extension.
Is there a world clock for Windows and Mac?
Windows has one built in: open the Clock app and pick World clock. DashSuey's World Clock runs in the browser, so it's the same on Windows and on a Mac, and the same clocks follow you from one computer to the next.
Will my clocks be on my other computers?
Yes. The clocks, their names, their order and your 12 or 24 hour choice are saved to your account with the rest of your board. The "your time" tint belongs to the computer, so it marks whichever clock matches the zone that computer is set to.
Can I name the clocks and change their order?
Yes. Type a name like Home or the London office, or leave it blank to show the city. Drag a clock by its handle to move it.
Can it show seconds and 24-hour time?
Yes, with one switch each. A new widget starts on 12-hour with seconds off.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Each clock is tied to a place's time zone, and your browser applies that place's daylight saving rules. When the place changes its clocks, the time and the offset beside it change too.
How accurate is it?
As accurate as your computer's clock, which it reads directly. There's no time server, so every clock on the widget moves together.
Can it convert a time or find a meeting time?
No. It shows the time now in each place and how far ahead or behind you it is. To work out what 3pm your time will be somewhere else, use a time zone converter.
How many clocks can I add?
The widget sets no limit. The type gets smaller to fit, and a wide tile shows two columns. You can also add a second World Clock, say one for work and one for family.
